you are entitled to receive a Thai pension. Whether in Thailand or abroad.
If you meet the conditions of social security, you can apply for a pension whether in Thailand or not. Which if the specified conditions are met and should hurry to apply for a pension immediately, because there is a time limit for requesting.
There are two types of pension in Thailand.

Conditions for receiving pension
Age
Over 55 years,
can apply after retirement.
Passport
A Japanese passport (overseas) is required.
Social Security Enrollment Status
Must end the status of being a social security insured in Thailand.
Period of being a Social Security insured
Social security contributions for more than 180 months
In case that social security contributions are paid less than 180 months, you will receive a gratuity. which can be seen on the page「 Thai gratuity 」
Social security number
Social Security member number have 13 digits.
If you don't know, please ask the company you worked for.
Bank passbook
Thai bank passbook with the name of the pensioner. If you do not have a Thai bank passbook, please contact the company for more information.
Example of receiving a pension
In the case of sending social security contributions for 180 months
Will receive 20% of the average salary of the last 60 months from the month of resignation (not more than 15,000 baht)
For example, salary 15,000 baht x 20% equals 3,000 baht per month.
In the case of social security contributions for more than 200 months
The contribution of 180 months is calculated by the salary of 15,000 baht X 20% equal to 3,000 baht per month
The remaining 20 months will receive an additional 1.5% per 12 months (8 months eliminated)
calculated by the salary of 15,000 baht x 1.5% equals 225 baht, totaling 3,225 baht.
In the case of social security contributions for more than 240 months
The 180-month contribution portion equals 20% of the average salary of the last 60 months that the pension can be applied for.
Exceeding 180 months will be calculated in an additional 1.5% every 12 months (1 year).
The contribution of 180 months is calculated by the salary of 15,000 baht x 20% equal to 3,000 baht per month.
The remaining 60 months will receive an additional 1.5% for 5 years (60 months) calculated annually.
Year 1 Salary 15,000 baht X 1.5% = 225 baht, total 3,225 baht per month.
Year 2 Salary 15,000 baht X 3% = 450 baht, total 3,450 baht per month.
Year 3 Salary 15,000 baht X 4.5% = 675 baht, total 3,675 baht per month.
Year 4 Salary 15,000 baht X 6% = 900 baht, total 3,900 baht per month.
Year 5 Salary 15,000 baht X 7.5% = 1,125 baht, total 4,125 baht per month.
